Wedding: Stoltmann-Sykes

Lauren Rebecca Sykes and Nicholas Burke Stoltmann

Lauren Rebecca Sykes and Nicholas Burke Stoltmann were united in marriage at noon on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Forsyth Park in Savannah. The Rev. Tim Moore officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Sykes of North Augusta. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Valentine of North Augusta and Mrs. Millie Sykes and the late Mr. Russell J. Sykes of Easley, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Stoltmann of Apex, N.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Suzanne Stoltmann-Dorsey and the late Mr. Henry Stoltmann of Wellesley, Mass. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jere Weber of Arlington Heights, Ill.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The maid of honor was Ashley Ahl of Columbia, friend of the bride. The matron of honor was Kaitlin Eaves Cunningham of Augusta. Bridesmaids were Amanda Stoltmann of Cary, N.C. and Lauren Stoltmann of Apex, N.C., both sisters of the groom.

The best man was Brad Worsham of Charleston, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Zach Sykes of Columbia, brother of the bride and Bill Blackburn of Raleigh, N.C. and Jim Belcher of Cary, N.C., friends of the groom.

The couple’s reception was held at 10 Downing in Savannah. Their wedding trip destination was Disney World. The couple will reside in Charlotte.
