Blotter for July 13
According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 62-year-old Aiken woman said she and her dog were attacked by two dogs while walking on Dunbarton Circle on Thursday. The owner of the two dogs said the dogs escaped while he opened the gates to pull his car into the driveway.
A shoplifting was reported at a convenience store on Hampton Avenue on Thursday. Three juveniles were in the store, and one of them allegedly tried to walk out without paying for several items. No charges were filed, but the three juveniles were placed on trespass notice for the store.
Gunshots were reported on Crosland Drive about 1 a.m. on Friday. Officers investigated but found no evidence of gunfire.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Hillcrest Drive in North Augusta on Thursday. The owner reported a LifeAlert necklace missing.
An additional burglary was reported on Springdale Road in Graniteville on Wednesday.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Lawana Drive in Gloverville on Wednesday, Pinewood Park Circle in Beech Island on Thursday, Arnold Drive in Warrenville on Thursday, Fleetwood Drive in North Augusta on Thursday and Augusta Road in Gloverville on Thursday.
A motorcycle was reported stolen from Maybelle Lane in Aiken on Thursday.
