Police blotter for July 2

According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

Officers have obtained warrants for breach of trust with fraudulent intent for a Williston woman who is accused of stealing from a cash register at the Richland Avenue store at which she works. The woman allegedly took more than $1,200 from her register between June 2 and June 22.

A 19-year-old North Augusta woman was detained for shoplifting on Friday after she allegedly tried to steal $190 in merchandise from a store on Whiskey Road by concealing the items in her purse.

An unknown man entered a convenience store on York Street on Saturday and took two cases of beer without paying.

Two tractors were reported missing from Citizens Park on Saturday.

An Aiken man was detained on a drug warrant from Chesterfield after Aiken officers stopped him on Dougherty Road for a seat belt violation.

Burglaries were reported at two buildings on Kershaw Street on Saturday. The owners reported that the doors were forced open, but nothing appeared to be missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Cody Lane on Saturday. The owner reported a handgun and sunglasses missing from the vehicle, which was unlocked.

An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Hollow Tree Drive on Sunday. The owner reported that the vehicle was unlocked and nothing was missing.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A four-wheeler was reported missing from a home on Howlandville Road in Warrenville on Sunday.

A burglary was reported at a home on Hill Street in North Augusta on Sunday. The owner reported a phone and a bottle of vodka missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Green Acres Park Lane in Warrenville on Saturday. The owner reported a camera missing from the vehicle, which was unlocked.

An additional vehicle break-in was reported on L&L Lane in Aiken on Sunday. The owner reported a GPS and a laptop missing.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Stillwater Road in Windsor on Sunday.
