Jennifer Lee Cordero of Charlotte, NC and Chris Grizzard of Charlotte, NC, were married March 8, 2013 at El Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bride was given in marriage by he father, Angel Cordero. The Rev. Aran Santana officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Angel and Carmen Cordero of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of Isabel Figueroa and the late Manuel Lorenzo and the late Manuel Cordero and Herminia Galloza.
The bridegroom is a son of Kenneth and Karen Grizzard of Newport News, VA. He is a grandson of Reba Handwerk and the late Ralph Handwerk and of the late Taylor and Thelma Grizzard.
Mia D’Andrea of Chicago, IL was the matron of honor. Kristina Conway of Washington, D.C., friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Justin Conway of Washington, D.C. was the best man. Groomsmen were Jason Dupree of Charlotte, NC, friend of the groom; and Adam D’Andrea of Chicago, IL, friend of the groom.
Following a reception at El Convento in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the couple left for a wedding trip to London and Ireland.
They will reside in Charlotte, NC.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in sociology. She is employed by NASCAR.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Menchville High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in media arts. He is employed by Bank of America.
