April Kathryn Adams of North Augusta, South Carolina, and Charles Wesley Harrell, III, of Birmingham, Alabama, were married on June 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Reverend Doctor Frederick Wilhelm Andrea, III, performed the ceremony.


The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Barry Adams of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Francis Holley and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Clay Adams, Jr. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She is employed by Ferguson Enterprises.


The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wesley Harrell, Jr., of Due West, South Carolina. He is a grandson of the Reverend and Mrs. Charles Edwin Peterson of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wesley Harrell, Sr. The groom is a 2004 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management and a 2007 graduate of Virginia Tech with a Masters degree in Forest Biology. He is employed by Resource Management Services.


Mrs. Karen Congdon Gregory was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Jessica Busbee Adams, sister-in-law of the bride, Mrs. Leigh Harrell Boland, sister of the groom, Mrs. Jennifer Zullig Brantley and Mrs. Erin Cox Johnson. Miss Katelyn Ashley Boland, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.


Mr. Charles Wesley Harrell, Jr., father of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Martin Clay Adams, brother of the bride, Mr. Edward McBride Boland, III, brother-in-law of the groom, Mr. Andrew Addison Mathias and Mr. L. Engle Mock.


Following a reception at The Wilcox, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. They will reside in Birmingham, Alabama.
