Daniel Paul Dobek
LANGLEY, S.C. – Mr. Daniel Paul Dobek, age 78, of Langley, S.C., loving husband of the late Erma Parker Dobek and son of the late Stanley Hall Dobek and the late Helen Josefowizz Dobek, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Nancy Dobek of Rockford, Michigan; a special niece, Katie Parker of Warrenville, S.C.; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, David Dobek, and a daughter, Deborah Dobek. He was born in Chicago, Illinois but has been a resident of Aiken County, S.C. for many years. He retired from Columbia Nitrogen in Augusta, Ga. and was a US Army Veteran having served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a special man who loved life and would do anything for anybody. His niece stated that he really enjoyed working puzzles, and that he was one of a kind. If you knew him, you just couldn’t help but like him, cause he had a wonderful sense of humor that would just capture your heart. Yes, he will surely be missed by all whose lives he touched during his lifetime; however, life has not ended for Mr. Dobek, as he has just taken up residence at his new Heavenly home. He enjoyed singing, and he is probably singing with the angels now. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials, in his honor, be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
