According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

Two men and a juvenile were detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after they tried to take an electronic tablet from a store on Whiskey Road.

A 35-year-old Aiken woman was detained for DUI on Friday after she was pulled over on Richland Avenue for nearly colliding with another vehicle. The woman was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 33-year-old Aiken woman was detained for DUI on Saturday after being pulled over for driving erratically. The woman was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 20-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI and simple possession of marijuana on Saturday after he was seen by officers drifting in his lane.

A 38-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Saturday after another driver was flashing his headlights and honking his horn to alert officers of the impaired driver. The man was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

Burglaries were reported this weekend on Laurens Street, Hampton Avenue, York Street and University Parkway.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Richland Avenue, East Gate Drive, Whiskey Road and Laurens Street.

Two residents, on Aldrich Street and Union Street, reported air conditioner units stolen from their homes.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A burglary was reported on Williston Road in Beech Island. The owner reported electronics missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Ergle Street in Graniteville, Woldus Road in North Augusta, Old Graniteville Highway in Graniteville and Log Cabin Road in Aiken.
