Amanda Lee Sapp of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Paul Edwin Young of New Smyrna Beach, FL were married April 27, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Rev. Fred Andrea III officiated.


The bride is a daughter of Ms. Denise Sapp of Aiken, SC, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sapp of North Myrtle Beach, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Green and Mr. and Mrs. Wade Sapp.


The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Young of Aiken. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Freeman and the late Dr. and Mrs. Walter Lee Young.


Katie Reynolds of Aiken, SC, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Everett of Greer, SC, friend of the bride; Angela Faison of Brooklyn, NY, friend of the bride; Brittany Hooks of Columbia, SC, friend of the bride; Melissa Hooks of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; and Cindy Kelly of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride.


Nathan Hooks of Columbia, SC, was the best man. Groomsmen were Chris Allen of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; Jason Kinard of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; Jonathan Rollins of Charleston, SC, friend of the groom; Matthew Sapp of Aiken, SC, brother of the bride; and Trey Young of Columbia, SC, brother of the groom.


Josh Escapite of Aiken, SC, was the ringbearer.


Aniston Hooks of Columbia, SC, was the flower girl.


Following a reception at the Municipal Building of Aiken, SC, the couple left for a wedding rip to Harbour Island, Eleuthera, Bahamas.


They will reside in New Smyrna Beach, FL.


The bride is a 2004 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of USC Columbia with a degree in exercise science and Aiken Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is employed by Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center as an RN.


The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is a graduate of The Landing School with a degree in yacht design. He is employed by Edgewater Powerboats as an engineer.
