NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mrs. Eva F. Roberts, 86, of Dixie Clay Road, who entered into rest June 15, 2013, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Roy L. Head officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Roberts was a life-long resident of the Langley and Bath communities. She was a dedicated mother, homemaker and devoted grandmother who enjoyed reading, especially the Bible and other Christian literature. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Julian H. Roberts. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Chucky and Judy Roberts, Bath, SC and Wayne and Karen Roberts, North Augusta, SC; three sisters, Myrtle Busch, Bath, SC, Wilma Wilson, Bath, SC and Shirley McCary, North Augusta, SC; three grandchildren, Tony Roberts (Lisa), Jeremy Roberts (Hannah) and Jennifer McIntosh (Danny); six great-grandchildren, Hollie Roberts, Colby Roberts, Gage McIntosh, Ansleigh McIntosh, Carrington Roberts and Creighton Roberts; a special niece, Patsy Bagwell. Pallbearers will be Tony Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Danny McIntosh, Colby Roberts, Gage McIntosh and Niles Emeneker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8. Memorials may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, 810 Maxwell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Carol and Cindy, the staff at both Caris Hospice and NHC North Augusta, especially Teri, who was there from the beginning.
