Police blotter for June 18
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A suspicious fire at a Warrenville home was reported Monday on Pine Log Road. The owner was not at home at the time of the incident and was notified by phone. No injuries were reported.
The Dollar General on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater was broken into on Sunday. An unknown amount of cigarettes, cigars and lighters were stolen. Surveillance showed a subject wearing dark colored jeans with a white stripe going down the leg, a black hoodie, black gloves and white tennis shoes. A glass door and case were broken during the incident.
A Springfield woman reported on Sunday that her tablet and iPhone charger were stolen from her Dawson Lane home.
A Warrenville woman reported on Sunday that three car batteries were stolen from her Hillvale Street home.
A North Augusta man reported on Sunday that a firearm and computer were stolen from his Thompson Avenue home.
A Graniteville man reported on Sunday that nine firearms and a television were stolen from his Paradise Drive home.
A television was reportedly stolen from a Eutaw Street home in Aiken on Sunday.
A burgundy 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was reported stolen from Kimberly Clark located on Old Jackson Highway in Jackson over the weekend.
According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An Aiken man reported Friday that someone broke three windows to a house he owns on Polo Drive.
A 16-foot drop gate trailer was reportedly stolen from Whiskey Road on Friday.
A 40-inch television was reported stolen from a Troon Way home on Friday.
An Aiken woman reported her three-speed cruiser style bicycle stolen from her Sumter Street yard on Friday.
Copper tubing was reportedly removed from the HVAC system of the Richland Avenue Dollar General on Saturday.
The Walmart on Whiskey Road reported several merchandise items stolen including an AC unit, drinks and blankets on Sunday. Witnesses saw two men leaving the store with those items and quickly loading them into a blue GMC truck.
