WEDDING: Lucero – Figueroa

Mari Figueroa of Trenton and Joey Lucero of Jackson were married Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. John’s United Methodist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Eric Figueroa, Sr. The Rev. Marion Britton officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Ms. Tanya Figueroa of Trenton and Mr. and Mrs. Eric Figueroa, Sr. of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Norris and Marina Figueroa.

The bridegroom is a son of Gwen Lucero of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lucero of Jackson. He is a grandson of Viola McClain and Helen Lucero.

Maggie Figueroa of Trenton was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Edwards of Huntersville, NC, friend of the bride; Megan Roach of Lexington, SC, friend of the bride; Nikki Nelson of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; and Jennifer Kitchens of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride.

Terry Lucero of Jackson was the best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Lucero of Jackson, SC, brother of the groom; Adam Mills of North Augusta, friend of the groom; Daniel Smith of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; and Tyler Cheek of Jackson, SC, friend of the groom.

Landon Figueroa of Aiken was the ringbearer.

Tanna Martin of Jackson and Lauren Reeder of Jackson were the flower girls.

Following a reception at Newberry Hall, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Caribbean.

They will reside in Aiken, SC.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She is a graduate of USC-Aiken with a degree in Marketing. She is employed by SRP Federal Credit Union.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Silver Bluff High School. He is a graduate of Aiken Tech with a degree in Maintenance. He is employed by Savannah River Remediation.
