NAMES: Anderson selected for internship at Youth Villages

Aiken student Cameron Anderson of Aiken was selected for an internship at Youth Villages, a Memphis, Tenn., private nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families live successfully.

Youth Villages provides a wide variety of programs to help children who may have suffered abuse or neglect, or who may have emotional and behavioral issues. Anderson is interning at Youth Villages’ Bartlett Campus, helping children in residential treatment learn more positive behavior patterns and deal with past trauma.

Anderson is a junior at the University of South Carolina. He is majoring in sociology. Anderson is a graduate of Aiken High School.
