Blotter for May 22
According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A Myrtle Beach man reported on Monday that his blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot of Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The victim said he was discharged from the hospital after a short stay and found that his motorcycle wasn’t where he left it. He told officers he left the key in the ignition because it’d gotten stuck before he drove to the hospital.
A man entered a store on Whiskey Road on Friday, took a jug of camping fuel from a shelf and dumped the fuel into a clear container, which he then placed into a corner of the store. Officers will obtain a warrant for shoplifting for the man.
A burglary was reported at a home on Henry Street on Saturday. The victim reported a brick was thrown through a window, and a jewelry and jewelry box were missing.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Lake Santee Drive in North Augusta on Monday. The owner reported a trailer and a microwave missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Big Branch Road in Wagener, Shining Star Lane in Beech Island and Happiness Lane in Beech Island.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Trolley Line Road in Graniteville and Hitchcock Parkway in Aiken.
Vehicles were reported stolen from Heathwood Drive in Aiken and Swallowtail Lane in Warrenville.
