A North Augusta woman was arrested and charged late Thursday night with armed robbery after police say she held up an Augusta Rite Aid store.
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office said Angelica Monique Rouse, 20, of 28 Castelina Drive, approached the assistant manager in a front office as the store was closing around 11:50 p.m. Police say Rouse, armed with a knife, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and exited the store.
Deputies responding to the incident were able to apprehend Rouse and one of her alleged accomplices, Nicholas Cordell Mason, 19, of Central Avenue in Augusta. Police say the two were apprehended on the 500 block of Chafee Ave., located directly behind the Rite-Aid.
Police say they then learned of a third accomplice, De'Michaels Glover, 20, of Shadow Ridge Drive in Augusta. Police said Glover is an employee of the store, was working at the time of the incident, and had conspired to commit the robbery.
All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Richmond County Jail, each on the charge of armed robbery.
