Lucy Jean-Marie Baker
AIKEN, S.C. – Funeral Services for Lucy Jean-Marie Baker, infant daughter of Elizabeth Bronson Baker of Aiken, SC, who entered into rest May 11, 2013, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Father Jacek Szuster officiating.
We lost our baby, Lucy Jean Marie Baker, this past week in a house fire in Aiken. No words can describe our grief or answer our questions. The full wave of anguish has yet to reach our shores and we are inconsolable about this loss. LuLu was born September 14, 2011, a mere 20 months old, so little time on this earth. Her big brown eyes and rosy cheeks were full of joy. She blew kisses, waved bye-bye and loved to dance with her momma on the kitchen floor. If you were around, she would ask you to give her My Little Pony Doll a kiss and she loved to share her blanket for everyone to give it a hug. She will be missed every day for the rest of our lives.
Lucy is survived by her mother; grandmother, Jeanmarie Bronson Garber; grandfather, William D. George; an uncle Benjamin Bronson George; step-grandfather, David Garber; great- grandmother, Phyllis A. Bronson; great-uncle, Richard M. Bronson; second cousins, Laura Jean Rychly, Amy Sawitz and Sara Bronson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
Memorials may be made to The Cumbee Center, 135 Lancaster Street SW, Aiken, SC 29801
Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta in charge of arrangements (803-278-1181).
