The 39th Season for the Hopelands Summer Concert Series continues with a performance by South Boundary on Monday.

The performance will take place on the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage at Hopelands and will begin at 7 p.m., lasting approximately an hour. This performance is presented by Allstar Tents and Events.

This year’s concert series is dedicated to the memory of Cecelia “CeCe” Reynolds, who was a Concert Series volunteer for 35 years, and Carl Crosby, the owner and director of Crosby’s School of Dance.

South Boundary was formed in the spring of 2008 and has been singing in and around Aiken since an inaugural performance at St. John’s UMC in January of that year. Their singing has taken them to Kentucky, Scotland and Georgia.

They fund and support three boys choirs in the area and are building an endowed scholarship for music students at USCA while producing $1,000 in annual scholarships – now in the fourth round of those. South Boundary has made a project of collaborating with others, notably USCA concert choir and jazz orchestra, Masterworks, Aiken Choral Society, M’Aiken Music and Aiken Singers.
