According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A burglary was reported on Mossy Tree Lane in Aiken on Wednesday. The owner reported weapons, electronics and alcohol missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Silver Fox Way and Carley Drive in North Augusta, Bristol Pass in Aiken, Bussy Road in Monetta and Elaines Court in Warrenville.

According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 46-year-old Aiken woman was detained for DUI on Thursday after she was pulled over on East Pine Log Road for weaving in and out of her lane. Officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol on the woman, who was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 23-year-old Aiken woman was detained for DUI on Monday after being pulled over on Pine Log Road for driving 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. She exhibited signs of intoxication, and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 57-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she allegedly hid several items in her purse and tried to leave a store on Whiskey Road without paying for the items.

A 37-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she concealed a container of chocolate milk in her jacket and left a store on York Street without paying for the milk.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Senate Drive on Thursday.
