According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 23-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after he put four video game controllers in his jacket and left the Whiskey Road store without paying for the items.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone egged her Equinox Loop home and stuffed an egg into the tailpipe of her car.
A 25-year-old Lexington man was detained for DUI on Tuesday after officers pulled him over on Whiskey Road for weaving back and forth in his lane. The man was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported at a home on Gregg Street in Graniteville on Monday. The owner reported several appliances, children’s toys and DVDs missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Mayfield Road and Edgefield Highway in Aiken.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Beulah Street in North Augusta, Old Augusta Road in Langley and Union Academy Road in Springfield.
