Brittany Jeffcoat, RN, PCC, CHPN, is the new patient care coordinator at Agape Hospice of Aiken.
A native of West Columbia, Jeffcoat is a 2009 graduate of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, where she was first in her class. She joined Agape Senior in 2009 serving patients in Lexington Assisted Living, the Hospice House and the W. Columbia Post-Acute Care Campus.

The first registered nurse certification exam was offered in 1994 and awarded use of the credentials CRNH to those successfully passing the exam. In 1999, the examination was expanded to include palliative care, and successful candidates are now awarded the credentials Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. There are currently more than 11,000 nurses who hold the CHPN credential.
