Thats Our Princess breaks maiden, Nadurra places third in stakes

Thats Our Princess broke her maiden Saturday afternoon in a 6-furlong race over the Polytrack Elite surface at Woodbine. The three-year-old daughter of, two-time Horse of the Year Curlin, is owned by Gustav Schickedanz and trained by Mike Keogh.

The filly was making her racing debut, and the first start of her sophomore campaign was impressive, as she won by 4 1/4-lengths under the confident handling of jockey Luis Contreras.

Nadurra, who won her 2013 debut on opening at Woodbine, returned to the races on Saturday, and placed third in the 7-furlong Fury Stakes at the Toronto, Ont., Canada-based racetrack. The daughter of Langfuhr is onwed by Gustav Schickedanz and conditioned by Mike Keogh.

Nadurra has two wins and one third from six starts, and has lifetime earnings of $104,745.
