According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An Aiken woman found a plastic bag containing a green, leafy substance on the sidewalk of York Street on Tuesday.

An Aiken woman reported her gun stolen from her home on Tuesday. The owner had reportedly cleaned the gun and left it on her back porch to dry.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Graniteville woman reported on Tuesday that someone tried to break into her home on Village West Lane.

Three mailboxes were reported damaged on State Park Road in Windsor.

An unknown man took three cartons of cigarettes and a bag of coffee from a store in North Augusta without paying for the items.

Burglaries were reported Tuesday on University Parkway in Aiken, Honeybee Lane in Graniteville, Edgefield Road in North Augusta and Gregg Street in Graniteville.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Holly Meadows Drive in Graniteville and Project Road in Warrenville. Tools were reported missing from both vehicles.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Amazing Grace Road in Warrenville on Tuesday.
