Aiken Artist Guild member John Bradley will be exhibiting his paintings at the Aiken Center for the Arts in the AAG gallery during the month of May.

As a clinical psychologist by vocation, Bradley has a long history of observing people – a history which has served him well as a portrait painter. He began painting lessons four years ago with Julie Adams and continues to strive to portray on canvas, the emotional life of his subjects.

He describes his artistic endeavor as a wonderful adventure – a process of self-discovery, as well as an enjoyable pastime.

In addition to the Bradley’s exhibit, the Aiken Artist Guild competition exhibit will be on display. A reception for the exhibits will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Exhibits are located in the Aiken Center for the Arts, 122 Laurens St. S.W. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
