A 43-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after he was found “staggering” on East Gate Drive, according to a police report. The man reportedly had slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol. He told officers he had just finished drinking a bottle of wine and was heading to a nearby store to purchase another alcoholic beverage.
A 39-year-old Graniteville man was detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after he began cursing and screaming profanity at doctors and nurses in the emergency room at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, according to a police report. The suspect reportedly continued screaming even after being told by an officer to stop.
