Six people were detained on drug charges after police searched a home on Chesterfield Street on Wednesday, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.


Tonya Teresa Ervin, 39, of Timberlane Road in Aiken, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Michael Edwards, 45, of Chesterfield Street, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.


Terry Lamar Tyler, 38, of Forest Glen Drive in Rock Hill, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal domestic violence.


Betty Ann Felder, 47, of Buckboard Road in Aiken, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.†


Hope Gabrielle McKevie, 39, of Gregory Road in Aiken, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.†


Isaiah Eric Roland, 52, of Washington Circle in Aiken, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was also wanted by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.


Officers arrived at the home to execute a search warrant at 549 Chesterfield St. around 2:30 p.m.


Wednesday, according to the report. They saw several of the subjects standing in the yard, who were then detained, the report states.†


As officers entered the home, they saw several other subjects inside the home who also were detained, according to the report.


Tyler tried to flee from the backside of the home but was detained by officers, who found a suspected crack pipe on yler, according to the report.†


In the living room of the home, officers found several pieces of suspected crack cocaine that were located next to Ervin "on the floor," according to the report. Also located next to Ervin was a suspected crack pipe, a digital scale covered in suspected cocaine residue, a razor blade and a phone, the report said.


Officers located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine in the living room on a dresser that was near the front door of the home, according to the report. Police also say they also found a suspected crack pipe on Felder, as well as one inside Felder's purse.†


Three suspected crack pipes were found inside a bedroom where Edwards and McKevie were hiding, the report stated.


All six suspects were all taken to the Aiken County detention center, where all but Felder and Roland remain this afternoon.
