Company offering free services to winning nonprofit
For the seventh consecutive year, Aiken-based Allegra Marketing, Print & Mail is letting the community decide which deserving nonprofit organizations should receive the chance to revamp its marketing and graphic communications.
The Allegra FootPRINT Fund will award $15,000 in services to nonprofit organizations and associations seeking financial assistance for marketing products such as graphic design, printing, web marketing, website design, posters and other graphic communications.
To be considered for a FootPRINT Fund award, nonprofit groups, associations and charitable organizations with a main office or branch in Aiken County must submit a completed application by May 31. Application forms must be submitted on the company’s website at www.aikenallegra.com.
“We feel it is our duty to assist the community that we love so much,” said Tom Meesseman, owner of Allegra Marketing, Print & Mail. “Hopefully, our donations will have a lasting impact on the organizations who take advantage of them.”
Community members can get in on the action by voting for their favorite nonprofit on Allegra’s website beginning June 3. Polling ends June 21, and winners will be announced on June 28.
This year, there are two factors that will determine the award amounts. While online voting is still a major determining factor, a committee at Allegra also has been formed to make final decisions on the amounts each organization receives.
“This program is a way for us to make a difference in our community, one step at a time,” said Meesseman. “Marketing in an essential part of any nonprofit organization, so we feel that the FootPRINT Fund will help bring these organizations to the next level.”
