ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Three USC Aiken softball players received All-Peach Belt Conference honors at a banquet on the eve of the Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament.
USCA junior Kaitlyn White was tabbed to the First-Team at second base, while senior Lindsey Jones and junior India Kornegay were both Second-Team selections.
White has started all 45 games for the Pacers this year. She leads the team with a .310 (44-for-142) batting average.
Jones, a North Augusta grad, has started all 45 games for the Pacers this season. Jones leads the Pacers in slugging percentage (.401), total bases (55) and RBIs (22). She also leads the team with five multiple-RBI games. Jones has 10 multiple-hit games.
Kornegay (13-12) is second nationally and first in the Peach Belt Conference with a school single-season record 262 strikeouts on the 2013 season. She is averaging a league-best 10.44 strikeouts per game.
