Aiken Public Safety officers responded to a call of shots fired on Pinecrest Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, according to a report. Officers investigated but found nothing out of the ordinary.

An Aiken man reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Monday that someone slashed the tires, broke the windshield and cut wires to the air conditioner on his vehicle parked on Combs Drive, according to a sheriff’s report.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Monday at residences on Columbia Highway and Beaver Creek Lane in Aiken, Project Road in Warrenville, Runs Creek Drive in Jackson, St. James Street in North Augusta, Salvation Lane in Beech Island, Old Shoals Road in Monetta, and on Tuesday on Shiloh Church Road in Aiken.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Old Jordan Road in Aiken on Monday.

An Aiken woman reported that someone took a ceramic bear law ornament from her home on Cody Lane on Tuesday.
