An Aiken man reported that someone keyed three of his cars parked outside his Huntington Court home on Thursday, according to police reports.

Copper wire was reported stolen from the construction site of the Aiken County government building on University Parkway on Thursday, according to police reports.

An unknown man reportedly took a necklace from a store in Aiken Mall while a store employee was showing him the item, according to police reports.

A 20-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Friday after officers saw him driving recklessly on Whiskey Road, according to police reports. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests. He faces additional drug charges after officers found three cigarettes of suspected marijuana and a scale.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Edgefield Avenue on Thursday, according to police reports. The owner reported a window shattered and her purse missing.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating burglaries that were reported on Thursday on Wagener Trail Road in Wagener, Valley Drive in Aiken and Beaver Creek Lane in Aiken.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Pleasure Island Road in Gloverville on Thursday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A purse was reported missing.
