Aiken Public Safety responded to a shoplifting at Kroger on Whiskey Road on Sunday. An unknown man reportedly concealed several packs of chicken inside his shirt and fled the scene.
Gunshots were reported on Carriage Drive on Monday. Officers investigated but were unable to determine the source of the sound.
An open door was reported at a restaurant on Richland Avenue on Monday. Officers cleared the building and secured the door.
A Charlotte, N.C., woman reported on Sunday that her cell phone was taken while she was at an address on Eclipse Loop.
Aiken Public Safety is investigating burglaries at two storage buildings on University Parkway on Monday. A generator, an air compressor and a die set, and motor were reported missing.
Officers responded to a burglary in the shed of a home on Laurens Street on Sunday. Nothing was reported missing.
Aiken Public Safety is investigating vehicle break-ins that happened Saturday on Whiskey Road, and Monday on Dupont Drive and Whiskey Road.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigated a call about a vehicle driving over graves in Langley Cemetery on Monday. Officers investigated but could not locate a vehicle. It did not appear the vehicle caused any monetary damage.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a business on Main Drive in Aiken on Monday. The owner reported copper wire stolen and reportedly had surveillance footage of the suspect committing the theft.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Palmetto Avenue in North Augusta on Monday. The owner reported prescription medication missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Bluff Landing Road in Jackson on Monday. The owner said the vehicle was unlocked, but reported nothing missing.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a home on Burkelo Road in Wagener on Monday. The owner reported a firearm missing. There were no signs of forced entry.
