A Beech Island woman was struck “at least twice” in a shooting incident on Saturday at her Beard Road residence, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The woman said she had returned home and was seated in her car when a man driving a truck fired a pistol at her. The man lives at the same address as the woman, according to a report about the incident. The woman was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center.
An Augusta, Ga., man reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday that his vehicle was stolen after he picked up a woman in Aiken at a store on Hampton Avenue and gave her a ride to a residence on Morgan Street in Aiken. He said some males at the house took his car and told him not to leave or “they would kill him,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Vandalism to a business on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Friday. Video surveillance showed multiple subjects breaking a doorknob off a door using a fire extinguisher. A dead bolt lock kept the door closed, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

She said the man yelled at her, asking where her boyfriend was and why the boyfriend hadn’t “paid him his money.” She also said she saw him walk over to the shed when he left, but did not see him take the items.

A North Augusta man reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Sunday that his tow truck was on fire and that the blaze was suspicious.
An Aiken woman reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday that her purse was missing from her boyfriend’s vehicle at a residence on Henry Street. Because of previous damage to the vehicle, the doors could not be locked, she said.
