• Aiken Public Safety responded to a burglary on Alfred Street on Thursday. The owner reported a television and jewelry missing.

• A shoplifting was reported at Walmart on Whiskey Road on Thursday. The suspect reportedly took several frozen food items from his shopping cart and placed them in the front of his pants in a different area of the store and left the store without paying. A loss prevention officer recognized the suspect from previous shoplifting incidents and said he had taken similar items in the same manner.

A Warrenville man accidentally shot himself in the arm while cleaning his semi-automatic pistol on Thursday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

• A burglary was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Osbon Drive in Aiken on Thursday. Electronics, a handgun, clothing and jewelry were reported missing.

• Additional burglaries were reported on Thursday on Aiken Road in Graniteville, Bradcast Drive in North Augusta and Glasshouse Road in Graniteville.
