The 6th Annual Barn Tour hosted by the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare will be held on Saturday, April 13. The tour begins at 11 a.m. All eight barns on the tour are located in Aiken’s beautiful Three Runs Plantation. Concessions provided by Papa Russ’s BBQ will be available.
The following people have graciously opened their barns for the tour: George and Trish Zara, Matt and Paulina Gould, Scott and Christy Douglas, Judy Boyle Chun, Jack Merritt and Karen Chandor, Horst and Amanda Dorner, Cindy Steinmetz and Wendy Lewis.
The eight barns will be open for self-guided tours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ann Kinney will be on-hand to show off some of the students from the SPCA train-to-adopt program, Phideaux University.
Raffle tickets will be on sale at each of the barns for fantastic prizes including home goods, jewelry, gift certificates and doggy training sessions.
Following the tour, Charlotte Bayley will perform a dressage exhibition (musical freestyle) at 2:15 at the Ashbrooke Equestrian Center p.m.and will give a short explanation of the exhibition. For more information about Bayley or dressage, visit her website www.csbdressage.net/aboutus.htm.

The event will be held rain or shine.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 the day of the event. Tickets are available for purchase at the SPCA Albrecht Center at 199 Willow Run Road, Auto Tech on Silver Bluff Road, the Aiken Treasure Chest on Richland Avenue, the Edgefield Treasure Chest on Main Street and the North Augusta Treasure Chest on Georgia Avenue.
Will call tickets may be purchased and picked up at the Three Runs Plantation clubhouse the day of the event by mailing a check payable to the SPCA to 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, S.C., 29801, or by credit card over the phone at 803-648-6863.

All proceeds from the event go directly to fund operations at the SPCA, a nonprofit facility dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals in the community through adoption, sterilization and humane education.
