A 48-year-old woman was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after she allegedly concealed several meat products in her pants and then tried to leave the store without paying for the items.

Two unknown suspects reportedly pushed carts loaded with cases of beer out of the Walmart on Richland Avenue on Tuesday.

Two unknown suspects reportedly left Walmart on Whiskey Road Wednesday with a pair of blue jeans, a watch and trading cards.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is investigating a burglary on Columbia Avenue on Monday. The owner reported a television, a video game console and a laptop computer missing.

An additional burglary was reported at a home on Melville Lane on Monday. The owner reported two jewelry boxes missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Greenville Street on Tuesday. The owner reported a wallet and cards missing.

A second vehicle break-in was reported on Lancaster Street on Tuesday. A purse, cards and jewelry were reported missing.

Burglaries were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Gregg Street in Graniteville, Swamp Road in Beech Island, Bettis Academy Road in Graniteville.

A vehicle break-in was reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Bumble Bee Lane in Bath on Tuesday.

A North Augusta woman reported a prowler outside of her Palmetto Avenue home on Tuesday.
