Two unknown men reportedly took an air conditioner unit from Walmart on Whiskey Road on Friday.
A 17-year-old Aiken High School student was detained for simple possession of marijuana on Friday after a school resource officer on patrol saw a ball of green plantlike material on the driver’s seat of the vehicle in the student lot.
A burglary was reported at a home on Magnolia Street on Friday. The owner reported silverware missing.
A Warrenville man reported on Friday that someone made unauthorized transactions on his credit card at a Walmart store in Aiken.
A burglary was reported at a home on Northgate Circle on Saturday. The owner reported jewelry missing.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Whiskey Road and behind Aiken Mall on Saturday. The owners in both cases reported that windows in their vehicles had been shattered and their purses taken.
A stolen vehicle was reported on Calhoun Place on Saturday. The vehicle was later recovered.
An unknown man and woman filled two carts with merchandise at Walmart on Richland Avenue on Sunday and pushed them out the door without paying. They then placed the items into a vehicle and fled.
Aiken Public Safety officers responded to an alarm at a home on Rutledge Drive on Sunday. They found an open door but no signs of forced entry, and the home didn’t appear to be disturbed. The door was secured.
Burglaries were reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Union Academy Road in Springfield and Nautilus Street in Aiken.
A stolen vehicle was reported on West Pine Circle in Wagener on Saturday.
A vehicle break-in was reported on New Castle Avenue in North Augusta on Saturday. The owner reported a wallet, cash and cards missing.
