Traffic on Whiskey Road is being temporarily detoured while Public Works employees remove a tree, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
Orange signs and cones are detouring drivers to York Street via South Boundary Avenue and Grace Avenue while the crews work.
Sgt. Jake Mahoney said the job began about 10 a.m. and is expected to take about three hours.
