Aiken band brings its smooth sound to concert
“We are looking forward to it,” Clinton Moses, band booking agent, vocalist and keyboardist, said. “We were honored to be ask to perform with this particular show.”
The group, together close to three years, has helped out with Smith Hazel and with the event before.
The “unique combination of R&B, funk and old school music” the band plays has been seen at a wide range of events across the Southeast, like the area’s American Legion Post.
The group plans on performing tracks from Moses’ CD.
The concert, to be from 5 to 10 p.m., will also feature a local DJ from Landmark Productions.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be bought up until Friday at the recreation center at 400 Kershaw St. N.E.
Light refreshments will also be available.
Special assistance or accommodations are offered for those who need it.
This will be the third year for the event.
“We wanted to get the bands and community together to enjoy themselves for this time of the year,” Linthia Perry, Smith-Hazel Recreation program coordinator, said.
