A vehicle break-in was reported to Aiken Public Safety on Whiskey Road on Tuesday. The owner reported 100 prescription pills missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Laurens Street on Tuesday. A backpack containing clothing was reported missing.

A burglary was reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Bonnie Blue Drive in Aiken on Tuesday. The owner reported an air conditioner unit, rugs, kitchen tiles, a ceiling fan and a microwave missing.

A Beech Island woman reported on Monday that when she tried to file her taxes for 2013, the IRS told her via email that her information had already been used to file taxes for 2013, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was unsure who used her information or if they were able to obtain any money.
