Man charged in sexual assualt case
A North Augusta man has been arrested and charged in a sexual assault case.
Frank Colafrancesco, 32, is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping, according to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
The victim ended up in the hospital early Sunday morning after she said he forced himself on her and repeatedly sexually assaulted her, according to a police report.
The victim said that she drove Colafrancesco to his Crestlyn Drive home from a bar because he was too intoxicated to operate a vehicle, according to a police report. She said she helped him into his home and when she was attempting to leave, he forced himself on her, the report read.
She told police that the assault lasted for approximately two hours.
