Dogwood Stable’s Palace Malice had a bullet work Sunday at Palm Meadows Training Center in Boynton Beach, Fla. in preparation for Saturday’s 1 1/16-mile Grade 2 Risen Star Stakes at the Fair Grounds. The son of Curlin, conditioned by 5-time Eclipse Award winning trainer Todd Pletcher, breezed 5-furlongs in 1:00:36., the fastest of 40 works at the distance.

Darley Stable’s Make Your Move broke his maiden Friday at Gulfstream Park, winning a 1 1/16-mile race that had been taken off the turf, and moved to the main track. The bay gelding by the 2006 Eclipse Award winning 3-Year-Old Male Bernardini won convincingly, scoring by 5 3/4-lengths. The Kiaran McLaughlin charge was ridden to victory by Jilver Chamafi.
