A 23-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he was caught concealing packages inside Walmart on Whiskey Road.

Two teenage girls were placed on trespass notice for Head to Toe Beauty on York Street on Tuesday after they reportedly tried to steal several packages of hair. The owner confronted the girls and recovered the merchandise. He declined prosecution.

An unknown man entered Walmart on Whiskey Road on Tuesday and walked out with a large quantity of clothing without paying for it.

A 49-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Tuesday after officers pulled him over on East Gate Drive for swerving in traffic.

Stolen vehicles were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Willis Hill Road in Aiken and Honeysuckle Trail in Salley.

A North Augusta woman reported on Tuesday that someone has been taking pieces of mail from her mailbox.

A Beech Island woman reported on Tuesday that someone has been making fraudulent transactions on her bank card.

Burglaries were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on River Bend Drive in Beech Island and Kinte Avenue in Aiken.

An Aiken man reported his wallet missing from his vehicle after he gave an unknown woman a ride from McDonald’s on York Street to Laurens Street on Wednesday.
