Aiken Public Safety officers responded to a call of shots fired on Brentwood Place about 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The suspects reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived; however, a spent round from a .45-caliber gun was recovered from the scene.An Aiken man reported his golf cart stolen from his Inwood Drive home on Sunday. The cart is described as a cream colored Club Car with damaged headlights, aluminum on the frame, a rear bed with reflective tape and a J&M Golf Cart sticker. A vehicle break-in was reported on Richland Avenue on Monday. The victim said she left her vehicle unlocked for a few minutes while she went into a store to make a purchase. She reported her purse, cash, a cellphone, a Kindle Fire and two bottles of prescription medication missing. Officers responded to a call for loud music in Gatewood Apartments about midnight on Tuesday. The homeowner apologized and complied with the officers’ request to turn the music down. An air conditioner unit was reported missing from a home on New Bridge Road in Aiken on Sunday. A vehicle break-in was reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Edisto Avenue in Aiken on Monday. The owner reported a money order missing. An Aiken man reported a gun stolen from inside his Kellog Drive home on Monday. Stolen vehicles were reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Augusta Road in Warrenville, Blue Poppy Road in Batesburg and Friar Tuck Lane in Graniteville. A burglary was reported on Pine Log Road in Graniteville on Monday. The owner reported a guitar, amplifier and toy cars missing.
