Class A Girls’ Playoffs

Ridge Spring-Monetta 41, Great Falls 26

Ridge Spring-Monetta (19-5) kept up its impressive run through Class A competition, cruising through the first round of the playoffs against Great Falls (1-13) after an undefeated region slate.

Seven players scored for the Trojans, led by Porsha Quattlebaum with 11 points. Shanquita Brown was next in line with eight points, and Crystal Preston added seven. Tyquazja Tyler (5), Ashley Perry (4), Ebony Hines (3) and Raven Valentine (3) rounded out the scoring for RS-M.

The Trojans will next host Brashier Middle College on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Class AAA Girls’ Playoffs

Hanahan 39, Strom Thurmond 23

Strom Thurmond (14-7) is done for the year, while Hanahan (17-7) will move on to play at Crestwood on Thursday.
