North Augusta High grad lauded

Rodricka Gooch Jackson is a 2012 graduate of North Augusta High School. This past fall, she began attending Claflin University in Orangeburg on an academic scholarship. She is a cheerleader for the Claflin University Tigers, has a part-time job as a dorm assistant, volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club of Orangeburg, is a Dean’s List student, and most recently won the title of Miss Pre-Alumni in the Claflin University UNCF Pageant. Jackson will travel to Atlanta this month to the National UNCF conference. Rodricka is the daughter of Tera Jackson, granddaughter of Rev. Herman and Patricia Jackson of North Augusta, and the great-granddaughter of Deacon Robert and Martha Walton of Beech Island.
