Frommer trained horses Dance to Bristol and Ascauga win

Copperville Farm’s multiple stakes winner Dance to Bristol returned to the winner’s circle Wednesday with a 4 1/4-length score in a 5 1/2-furlong allowance race at Laurel Park. The 4-year-old daughter of the 2004 Eclipse Award winning Sprinter Speightstown was broken and trained by Tim and Cary Frommer. The chestnut filly won the Pandera Stakes during her juvenile campaign, captured the Marshua Stakes as a 3-year-old, and placed second in her 2013 debut, the What A Summer Stakes on Jan. 12 at Laurel Park.

The talented sprinter is conditioned by Ollie Figgins, III, and has 4 wins and 7 seconds from 12 lifetime starts, and has earned $204,090.

Bill and Scarlett Simpson’s Dunbarton Stable LLC’s Ascauga won a one-mile allowance race, drawing off to win by 1 1/2-lengths Jan. 30 at Laurel Park. The 4-year-old bay gelding by Great Notion was broken and trained by Tim and Cary Frommer. Graham Motion conditions the Maryland-bred at the racetrack.
