Aiken Public Safety investigated an alarm at a building Orangeburg Street on Thursday that was caused by an open door.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on York Steet, Edgefield Avenue and Jehossee Drive on Thursday. A television, a backpack and a purse were reported missing.

Shoplifting incidents were reported at Walmart on Whiskey Road and Walmart on Richland Avenue on Thursday.

Abandoned vehicles were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Steinek Drive in Jackson, Polatty Street in Graniteville and Whiskey Road in Aiken.

A burglary was reported on Madison Avenue in Aiken on Thursday.

An air conditioner unit was reported missing from a home Valley Drive in Aiken on Thursday.

An Aiken man reported on Thursday that someone drove a vehicle through a fence at his Farmfield Road home.

A vehicle break-in was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Howlandville Road in Warrenville on Thursday.
