TODAY

There will be a Kidney Smart Class today at 2 p.m. at 775 Medical Park Drive. This class is free and will provide kidney disease education with expert educators. For more information visit KidneySmart.org/class or call 641-4222.

There will be CPR and First Aid Training for the community today at 6 p.m. at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road. The course includes adult, child and infant CPR and basic first aid. The class meets the requirements established by Bright from the Start, NAEYC, DHR and DSS. Noble Breads and Grocer, 1625 Richland Ave., will offer a nutrition class today at 6 p.m. The topic will be “A Campaign for Real Milk.”

The Aiken Preppers will be holding its inaugural monthly meeting today at the Aiken County Public Library meeting room, 314 Chesterfield St. SW, starting at 6:30 p.m. All interested in disaster preparedness are welcome. There will be door prizes. Call 624-6050 for more information

WEDNESDAY

The Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. SW, will have Storytime Wednesdays for babies ages 2 and younger from 10:15 to 10:35 a.m., for toddlers ages 2 to 3 from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and preschoolers ages 4 and 5 from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

THURSDAY

The Hilton Garden Inn, 350 East Gate Drive, hosts trivia night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

Noble Breads and Grocer are holding classes at its 1625 Richland Ave. location for mature youth and adults. The Thursday class at 6 p.m. will be a question-and-answer session with Aiken’s raw milk inspector.

Overeaters Anonymous will meet at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St. N.W., in room 121, every Thursday at 7 p.m. All are welcome. For more information email aikenoastjohns@live.com or call 644-2953.
