A child has accused a parent of another student of assaulting him on the school bus Friday, according to a police report.
Officers responded to a call regarding an assault that was said to have taken place earlier that day near Hahn Village on a school bus. The child told officers he was trying to defend his cousin who was being bullied by a fifth grader.
The child said that the mother of the student who was alledgedly doing the bullying got on the bus and started punching him in the legs and arms, according to a police report.
The incident is currently under investigation by Aiken Public Safety, and no charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon.
