AIKEN, SC – Mr. Dennis Ray Bryant, 80, of Aiken, SC, beloved husband of the late Mary E. Bryant and the late Eloise “Nannie Weiz” Bryant, entered into rest on Friday, January 25th, 2013. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass and also the Aiken County School District. Mr. Bryant enjoyed fishing and had a passion for gardening. Surviving are his children, Charles Bryant, Graniteville, SC, Marianne Price, (Patrick) North Augusta, SC, Jim Vinson, New Ellenton, SC, Renee Smith, Graniteville, SC, Dianne Inabinet, (Leslie) Aiken, SC and Andy Holbrooks, Windsor, SC; forty grandchildren, sixty-two great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 27TH, 2013, at 2 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Mike Hallman officiating. Interment with veterans honors accorded by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Daniel Price, Aaron Holbrooks, Tony Inabinet, Alex Hazuda, Robert Inabinet and Dennis Merryman. A reception for the family and friends will follow the interment service at the home of Marianne Price, 1810 Marion Ave., North Augusta, SC. Memorials in his memory may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.
