An Aiken man reported finding multiple hypodermic needles near the mailbox of his Richland Avenue home on Thursday.

A 34-year-old Aiken woman was detained for disorderly conduct after she was found sleeping in a tire in a parking lot on Laurens Street on Thursday. The woman exhibited signs of intoxication, and there were beer cans and liquor bottles around the tire.

An unknown man entered Dillard’s in Aiken Mall on Thursday, grabbed six purses from a rack and ran from the store, according to Aiken Public Safety. The man reportedly had a ride waiting for him outside the store.

Shopliftings were reported on Thursday at Walmart on Whiskey Road and Reid’s on York Street.

Vehicle break-ins were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Millrose Circle in Beech Island and Snipes Pond Road in Aiken.

Break-ins were reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Lincoln Avenue in Aiken, Augusta Road in Warrenville, Grace Hurst Road in Warrenville and Salley Road in Salley.
