Vehicle sought in North Augusta thefts

North August Department of Public Safety is searching for a white jeep in connection to two thefts.

According to Det. James Busbee, power tools were stolen from contractor's vehicles in the Lowe's parking lot in North Augusta. The white jeep was seen on video casing the area both times before the thefts which occurred on Jan. 14 and 15, according to police. The subjects waited for contractors to park their vehicles and enter the store before stealing the tools, according to police.

The white jeep has no rims or the rims are extremely dirty.
